This poster package offers a nice, visual overview of the core findings and factors from our scientific investigation into what makes Scrum teams effective. The illustrations are a great starting point for evidence-based conversations around where Scrum teams can be supported more effectively. The illustrations are created by Thea Schukken.
How does this help your team?
How can you make a Scrum team more effective? Most of the books, podcasts, blog posts, and material that we find online have to do with this question. How do scaling frameworks impact effectiveness? What about Sprint Goals? How can we empower teams to take more ownership? How can Scrum Masters and Agile coaches support this through exercises and workshops?
Together with Daniel Russo, a professor from the University of Aalborg, we developed a model from 13 case studies and tested it with data from 2.000 Scrum teams.
